Christina said...

"CHRIS!" I shouted when I got home.
"BEDROOM!" He shouted back. I walked back there and he was sitting on the bed trying to tie his shoes.
"Does your arm still hurt?" I asked.
"A little." He said.
"Take some pain-"
"NO!" He snapped.
"Sorry." He said.
"No, I'm sorry. I just don't want to take any unless I absolutely have too." He said. I smiled.
"Okay. Let me help." He said. He sighed and let me tie his shoes.
"Oh you big baby." I said, and he laughed.
"How was your day?" He asked me.
"Long." I said.
"Do you want to go out? I hate being cooped up in the house all day." He said.
"Sure." I said. I didn't really, but he seemed like he really wanted to get out of the house.
"I don't care. Just OUT!" He said, and I luaghed.
"Let's just go to Rocky's. See if they have a fight playing and grab a beer." I said.
"Beer sounds good. Especially with no pain meds." He said. I smiled and kissed him.
"Mmmm tasty." He said, and I laughed.
"I ate a strawberry popsicle on my way home." I said.
"Well I like it." He said, and kissed my neck.
"I thought you wanted to go out?" I asked.
"I do." He said.
"Then lets go." I said, and jumped up. He laughed and followed me out to the living room.
I drove us to a Rocky's, and sure enough there was a fight on. I only had one beer, so I could drive home and Chris could drink.
We had just finished eating when Chris ducked down under the table.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Hiding. Shhhh." He whispered.
"From what?" I asked looking around.
"My ex." He said.
"I don't see Stephanie anywhere." I whispered back.
"Not Steph, before her. Before I met you." He answered. I giggled, then looked around.
"WOW. The redhead?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
"She's gorgeous." I told him.
"She's a bitch." He said.
"I think you're okay, she's with some guy. I don't think she saw you." I told him. He sat up after they walked to the other side of the building.
