Sarah said...

"You're the bestest." I said to Chris hugging him as soon as we walked into the apartment.
He smiled.
"You dork." I said.
"What?"
"You've been actin' all cutesy and shy lately." I giggled.
"I know." He said. "Hey, would it be rude of me to cancel tomorrow with Brody?"
"Why do you want to cancel?" I asked.
He shrugged.
"What is it?" I asked.
"I keep getting the feeling he likes you. And I know you've told me a dozen times that you are just friends and nothing more, but I still get that feeling. I feel weird around him now." He explained.
"To tell you the truth, he's been giving me mixed signals lately." I said.
"Do you like him?" He asked.
I shook my head no.
"I just wasn't sure if your feelings changed." He said.
"Still the same." I smiled. I wasn't really sure if I was even telling the truth.
"Would he be bummed if I cancelled?" He asked.
"Yes." I said.
He sighed.
"It shouldn't be any different, hun." I said.
"I feel dumb too though. I kinda made a scene in front of him." He said.
"Chris, it's fine. Just go. You'll have fun." I said.
"Then you're going to." He said.
"Oh no I'm not." I said.
"Oh yes you are."
"Nope."
"Yup."
"NO! I'm NOT!" I laughed.
"Yuppers."
"Nopers."
"Oh yes."
"Oh no."
"Oh yes!" He said.
I started laughing. "That doesn't sound very good."
He laughed. "It does when you're on top of me." He said.
"You never tell me no." I said.
He laughed. "True dat." He said.
"Fa shizzle." I said.
"I is layin' back in my crib, smokin' da herb." He said starting to make up a rap.
"Don't even start that." I said laughing.
"Fuckin' girls from da hood. Hopin' der good. Eyein' my gun on da floor while I'm screwin' da whore." He said.
"Shut up!" I said laughing even harder.
"Just let me finish my rap, baby." He said trying not to laugh. He layed down on the couch. "I hope dis girl Blair ain't gonna leave me hangin', cause I's I gots da feelin' she's da one I should be bangin'." He said, he started laughing this time.
I jumped on top of him still laughing. "You are so stupid." I said.
"Girl, I ain't stupid." He said.
"Stop talking like a gangster." I giggled.
"Shit foo." He said.
"Stop, dork." I told him.
"You gonna leave me hangin?" He asked.
"Not sure if I'm da one you should be bangin." I told him.
We both giggled.
"You're awesome." He said.
"Man, I'm wack, fucka." I said.
He laughed, then got a serious look on his face. "Seriously, though." He said.
"I don't wanna hurt you." I said.
"You're not." He said.
I layed my head down on his chest. He started running his fingers through my hair. I really wanted to be with him at that moment. I just wasn't sure if I should.
