"Blair. Blair." I heard, and opened my eyes. "What?" I asked, rubbing them. Everything was blurry and I couldn't see. "Wake up sleepy head." Chris said. When my vision cleared I saw Chris. He was still in my bed. "Don't you have work?" He asked. "I called in." He said. "Why?" I asked. "Because, I wanted to stay in bed with you." He said and hugged me. "Why did you wake me up?" I asked him. "Because I'm hungry. And you kept talking in your sleep. You sounded upset." He said. "I don't remember." I said, and yawned. "Lets hang out today. Until you go to work." He said. "Okay. Let me take a shower first." I told him. "I guess." He said, and I laughed. "Trust me, you WANT me to take a shower!" I told him, and he laughed. I got up, took a shower and got dressed. When I walked out to the living room Chris was sitting there watching The Price is Right. "LAME!" I shouted. "ExCUSE ME? This rocks!" He said. "Loser." I said, and walked out the front door. I heard him laugh and shut off the TV, then joined me outside. He locked the door, and then took my hand and we walked to the car. I giggled. "What?" He asked. "You've never held my hand before." I told him. "Oh. Well, Now I have." He said, and squeezed my hand. I smiled and kissed him when we got to his car and he opened the door for me. We drove to Sonic and ordered food, then drove to the park to eat. When we were done eating we walked around and talked for a while. "So, where do we stand?" Chris asked me, holding my hand again. "In the park, silly." I said, and he laughed. "No, seriously." He said. "I don't know. Aparently I like you more then I thought I did." I told him. "Really?" He asked. "Yeah, really." I told him. "So?" He asked. "So, I don't know. I'd die if something happened to our friendship." I told him. "Nothing will happen to it. Blair, I want to be with you more then I've ever wanting anything else before." He said. I got the goosebumps. "Really?" I asked. "Yes, really. I've tried to dismiss any feelings I have, but I can't." He said. I stopped walking and turned to look at him. He smiled, and I leaned up and kissed him. Walked and talked some more before it was time for me to go to work. He dropped me off and promised to pick me up when my shift was over. I kissed him goodbye, then climbed out of the car. I went inside and clocked in. "So we are dating him now?" Brody asked, walking in the back. "Excuse me?" I asked him. "Yeah. Nice." He said, and left. "DUDE!" ROb said, as he passed Brody in the doorway. Brody had shoved him. "Sorry, Rob." I said. "It's okay. He's the asshole." He said. "About last night, I'm so embarassed." I told him. "Don't be, you were drunk." He said. "I know." I giggled. "I got scared because Chris and I have been avoiding the fact that we have feelings for each other. It's complicated." I said. "Hey, don't mention it. We're friends." Rob said. "Thanks." I told him. "And, if things don't work out, call me." He said. "Sure." I said, laughing. "Call me anyway. You are fun to hang out with." He said. "Thanks." I told him. "Sure." He said, and smiled then walked back out front. I clipped my name tag on then went out to start working. It was slow, and there were way too many people working. Kevin walked over to me while i was cleaning the windows. "Blair. Would you mind heading home early? It's a little slow tonight." He said. "Um, if you don't mind I'd like to work the rest of my shift. Is there someone that has been here all day that wants to go?" I asked. "No." He said. "Oh. Uh, yeah I guess I can go home then." I told him. "Thanks." He said. "Uh-huh." I said, and he walked away. I was mad I wanted to scream. I stormed back to the office and grabbed my purse, and clocked out. "Hey, it's okay." Rob said, walking in the back. "Why is he sending me home?" I asked. "I don't know. Something must have climbed up his butt." Rob said. "This sucks." I said. "Sorry. If it makes you feel any better, he's sending me home too." He said and clocked out. "Why has he been acting so damn wierd lately." I said. "Do you need a ride home?" Rob asked me. "No. I can call Chris. Thanks though." I told him. "Of course." He said, and left. I called Chris and he said he was on his way. I walked out front and sat on the curb to wait for him.
