"Blair. Jesus." Brody said walking out to Rob and I. Rob and I had been talking for over an hour. Rob lit a cigarette and stood up. "Chear up, young person." He told me smiling. "She's all yours." He told Brody. Brody stood next to me and leaned back onto the fence. "Sherrie's here." He said. He sounded drunk. I didn't say anything. "Blair, I apologize for my unmanly behavior." He said. I looked up at him and sighed. He sat down. "Sorry, babycakes." He said. "It's okay." I sighed. I looked over and saw Lukas talking to Ariel. He kept smiling and it was so cute. He had the most adorable smile. I looked at Brody and noticed he was watching them too. "Bitch slap that fucker!" Lukas shouted, then him and Ariel laughed. It made Brody and I laugh too. "What the fuck, Lukas." Brody said. Lukas looked at us laughing. Him and Ariel walked over to us. "Well, it's time for me to head out. My Mom can't watch my son all night, so I've gotta go pick him up." She said. "See you all tomorrow." "Bye." I said. She waved as she walked away. "A son?" I asked. "A son?" Lukas asked. "She has a son?" Brody asked. We all laughed. "Jesus. The girl is only like 18." Brody said. "It's normal these days." Lukas said. "Yeah I guess." Brody shrugged. It started to get chilly outside, so we all went back in. "Another Daquiri?" Lukas asked me. I smiled and nodded. "Be right back." He said. Brody laughed. "What?" I asked. "Could you want him MORE?" He asked. "Shut up." I said. "Have fun." He said smiling. He skipped away and it made me laugh. "Here you are." Lukas said handing me the glass. "Thanks." I said. Lukas started looking around and walked in a circle. "Where'd Brody go?" He asked. "I don't know." I said. He smiled. "So, eighties hu?" He said. He took a sip of his beer. "Some." I said. "Who's your favorite band?" He asked. "Like of all time." "Ummm." I said. He laughed. "Aerosmith I guess." I said. "I heard them a lot growing up." He nodded. "Not bad." "Yeah right." I giggled. "No, they're a good band. I just don't like Steven Tyler's voice. Now like Dream On was brilliant, but his voice went all crazy-like." He said. I giggled. "Crazy-like?" "Yes." "Kevin tell you that you and I got the registers all next week together?" He asked. "Seriously?" I asked. "Yup." He said. "What the hell happen?" I asked. "First he cuts down my hours, sends me home early for the first time ever, trains me on new shit and now throws me back at the registers." I was so frustrated. "Bummer." He said. "Fuck." I said under my breath. "I doubt it's anything to worry about, Blair." He said. I looked up at him and couldn't help but smile. I liked how he said my name. I felt myself blushing again. "I'll be right back." I told him. I set my drink down on the counter and started walking towards the bathroom. When I turned the corner, I saw Lukas and Sherrie making out at the end of the hallway. "Oh my god." I said. I turned around right away and almost walked right into Jake. "Whoa." He said laughing. "Sorry." I said. "Do you have another bathroom I can use?" "Yeah." He said. "Follow me." He took my hand and started walking back down the hall. I sighed. I was hoping he would take me in the other direction. We walked by them though and they didn't even notice us. I used Jake's bathroom that was in his bedroom. When I walked back out, Brody was walking Sherrie up the stairs. "Brody!" I shouted. I forced tears out of my eyes. Crying on demand was one of my few talents. He looked at me weird. "Brody, I don't feel well." I lied. "Go ahead up." He told her. He walked down the stairs to me. "What is it?" He asked hugging me. "I feel like I'm going to puke. Not from drinking. I just feel sick." I said. I forced out some more tears. "Stay right here." He said. He ran up the stairs. I turned towards the wall hoping that nobody would see me. I felt so stupid. "What is your problem?" I asked myself. After about 30 seconds, Brody came running down the stairs. We got in my car and he drove us back to my apartment. He was drunk, so it was dumb of me to even let him drive. "Why were you with her?" I blurted out when he parked in front of the apartments. "Let's just get you some soup and water." He said. We got out of the car. "Why were you with her?" I asked again. "Who else do I have?" He asked rudly. "She is my only option." I started crying and this time it was all real. "What?" He asked. He sounded so frustrated. "She's a bitch." I said. "Yeah. She is. That's why I was just going to sleep with her. Screw her." He said. "Why don't you just wait till someone right for you comes along?" I asked. "Blair, that's not going to happen any time soon." He said. He put his arm around me and we continued to walk. "I'll make you some soup." He said. "No thanks." I said. He turned toward me squinting. "What's goin on here, Blair?" He asked. "Fine. Soup is fine." I said. "You're not sick." He said feeling my forehead. "You're not sick. Are you?" I shook my head no. "What is this?" He asked. "Jelousy?" "Yes. Okay!" I shouted as I started to cry more. I walked into my apartment. Chris was laying on the couch. He jumped up when he saw me.
