"Hey. You wanna go to bed?" Chris whispered. I realized I was dozing off. I sat up yawning and he turned of the TV. We got up and went to bed. We heard GiGi start to wimper a little. Chris got up right away and left the room. I just went to sleep. I woke up the next morning at the time I was suppose to be leaving for work. I rushed to get ready and spead to work. I sprinted to the back and clocked in. I was out of breath when I hopped up to the registers. Lukas looked at me weird. I just sat down on the stool and rested my head on the counter as I cought my breath. "I like how you freak out when you're only ten minutes late." Lukas said. "I just don't think I want to be on Kevin's bad side." I said. He just laughed and it annoyed me. I didn't want to be at work, I just wanted to go back to bed. "You should come over tonight." He said. "I've gotta be home tonight." I said. "Chris' sister and neice are staying with us." "So." "So, she needs our help." I said. Kevin walked in and I jumped down, following him to the back. "Can I restock the shelves or something?" I asked. "Bored at the registers?" He asked. "Yeah." "Yeah sure." He said. "Unload the box in my office." He walked into the bathroom and shut the door. I went back to his office and picked up the box. I took it out to the rock section and started to unload the cd's. "So, I'm lame." Jake said sitting down on the floor next to me. "Why's that?" I asked. "I lied to my parents and told them I have a girlfriend." He said. I giggled. "Why'd you do that?" I grabbed all the Blind Melon cd's and started puting them all behind the tab that said Blind Melon. "They give me a lot of shit when I'm single." He said. "That's silly." I said. "It is. It is, it is. You see, here's the thing. . ." He said. I laughed. "This time, they told me to bring her to dinner tonight." He said. I laughed again. "How the hell are you suppose to do that?" I asked. "That's where you come in." He said. "What?" I asked. "I told them her name was Reggie." He said. "Reggie?" I asked laughing. "That is a stupid name for a girl!" "Shut up. I freaked out. It was the first thing that popped into my head." He said. I shook my head no. "Please? I wouldn't ask you unless it was really important." He said. "Nope. Ask Ariel or Lindsey." I said. "Lindsey would not do that." He said. "And Ariel. . . just. No." "No." I said. "Come on, Reggie." He said laughing. I giggled. "I can't beleive you are calling your fake girlfriend Reggie." He laughed and walked away. I kept laughing as I continued to stock the cd's on the shelves. When the box was empty, I took the empty box outside. I walked over to the chart on the wall and marked down that I had done it. It was annoying how much stuff we had to keep track of. "Oh, Reggie?" I heard Jake say in a silly voice. "Answer's still no." I laughed. "Please. Please, please. Please!" He said walking out of Kevin's office. "No." I said. I plopped back onto the couch and he jumped over the back of it sitting down next to me. "I'll buy you five new cd's." He said. "You really think THAT would get me to go?" I asked laughing. "Okay." He said looking like he was trying to think of something. "I will get you a banana split shake from Griffy's every day for lunch for two weeks." I actually had to think about that for a second, but not very long. "No." I giggled. I picked up an old issue of Maxim and started to look through it. "I'll buy a subscription of Maxim." He said. "Do you know me at all?" I asked. "I guess not! Cosmo? Rolling Stone? Craft? I don't fucking know." He laughed. "I don't read magazines." I said. "What the hell do you do?" He asked. I just smiled trying not to laugh. "I will. . ." He said thinking again. "Nice try." I said standing up. "Reggie!" He said. I laughed. "No. My name is Blair." "Please?" He begged. "Nope." I said. I walked back out to the registers. "Blair, you gotta do this for me." He said. He looked at Lukas. "What does she like?" He asked pointing to me. Lukas looked at me and shrugged his shoulders. "Friends. Chris." Lukas said. I rolled my eyes. Brody walked into the store and Jake went running after him. "Great." I laughed. "I got it!" Jake said running back out to me. "I don't think you do." I said. "Yes I do." He said. He cought his breath. "I will finish your Luke Wilson DVD collection." "What?" I asked. "You're only missing Best Men and The Royal Tenenbaums. I will get you both." He said. "You won't find Best Men anywhere. I've been trying to find it for years." I said. "Brody just found it on amazon." He said. "Are you lying?" I asked. "I'm totally serious." He said. "I really need your help." "Done." I said. "That's all it took?" He asked. "I told you, man." Brody laughed. "She is obsessed with him." "Shut up." I said. "You will not regret this." Jake said. "And you'll love my crazy wild family. They're all hippies." "What?" I asked. He didn't hear me. "What?" Lukas asked. "Oh. Nothing. My Mom is total hippie. She just doesn't do drugs anymore." I said. He just laughed.
