Chapter Seventy-Eight

We sat down on the floor in the same spot as before. Rob put his arms around me and started kissing my neck. I felt embarassed at first, but when I looked around, I realize none of them really cared.
"I'll be right back." He said pushing me forward again and jumping up.
"Rob!" I laughed.
He turned and looked at me. "Yes?"
"Just do it here." I said.
He pointed at me smiling. "No." He said, then ran out of the room.
"What is he doing?" I asked a guy sitting near me. His eyes were blood shot and his hair was all greasy. He just stared at me and started to kind of freak me out.
"I don't know, man. Probably Blow." The guy said. His eyes didn't leave mine. I turned away.
"Coke." Damien told me.
I just smiled. I felt a little uncomfortable with Rob out of the room. He came back a few minutes later though and sat back down behind me.
"Chad's scaring your girl." Damien said. Rob looked over at Chad. Chad layed back onto the floor. Two guys walked in.
"Hey." Rob said. "That's Brandon and Anthony." Rob and I stood up. "This is Blair." He told them.
I heard my phone go off again. I looked at it and it was Chris again. "I'll be right back." I said. I stepped out to the hallway and answered the phone.
"Hey." He said softly.
"Hey."
"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He said.
"I am." I said. "Thanks for checking."
"Of course." He said. "I can't work the rest of the week."
"I think I'm going to go to bed soon. I'll see you in the morning." I said.
"Do you have my prescriptions?" He asked.
"Yeah, they're in my purse."
"Okay, just making sure. I could use the pain meds right now." He said.
"I'll get them on the way home in the morning." I said.
"Thanks."
"You're welcome. Now get some sleep." I said.
"I'll try. It's hard when you're not here. I worry too much." He said.
"I'm in good hands." I said. "Promise."
"I know." He said. "You're smart. I should never worry."
"Yeah."
"Bye." He said.
"Night." I said and hung up.
"Is everyting alright?" Rob asked peaking out at me.
I nodded and smiled. I stood up. "I think I'm ready for bed though." I said.
"Oh okay." He said. "See you guys." He said. He took my hand and lead me to a bedroom. It looked like a little boys bedroom and it had bunk beds in it. Rob stripped down to his boxers and layed down on the bottom bunk. He rolled over facing the wall. I took my pants off and layed down next to him. He was already asleep. It didn't take me long to fall asleep either.

I woke up the next morning with a bad headache. I could hear a girl crying in the hallway. "Dude, splash water on her face. She's sweating like mad." I heard a guy say. I heard water running in the sink. "I hate him!" The girl shouted crying.
"Calm down, Jess. You're just having a bad trip." I heard another guy say.
"Rob?" I said shaking him. He turned over and looked at me with squinty eyes. "Can you take me home?"
"Uh, yeah." He said sitting up.
I scooted to the edge of the bed and slipped my pants on. He sat up and his hair looked funny. His now, blue mohawk had fallen flat and was laying over his eyes. He tucked it behind his ears. I grabbed my purse and he dropped me off at home. I must have looked like hell. I walked into our apartment. All I wanted to do was go back to bed. I felt exhausted.
"Hey you." Chris said walking out to me. He gave me a hug. "Where's my vicodin, I need it badly." He said smiling.
"Fuck." I said holding my head.
