"Hey." Chris said when we walked in. He was laying on the couch watching The Goonies. He turned it off right away and sat up. I laughed. "We were going to watch a movie." I said. "Oh okay." He said standing up. "You can join us." Brody told him. "I was just about to read actually." Chris said. I knew he was obviously lying. "Screw reading. Join us." I said smiling. "Nah. I'd fall asleep." He said. "Chris." I said. He looked up at me. "Join us." I said again. "I'll go make some popcorn." I went to the kitchen and made some popcorn. "We're watching Stand by Me." Brody said smiling. I rolled my eyes. "Alright." I said. I sat down between them on the couch. I started to get cold after a little while, so I got up and got a blanket. I sat back down and wrapped it around me. At about eight, Brody went home, because he was tired. He also wanted to catch the last bus home. "Well, I'm gonna get ready for bed." I said standing up. "Me too." Chris said as he stretched and yanwed. I giggled. "You look so cute when you stretch like that. Like a little boy." He threw a pillow at me as I ran to my bedroom. I closed the door laughing. I changed into my white wifebeater and my red panties. I went to the bathroom, washed my make up off and threw my hair up. I went back out to the living room and Chris was laying on the couch. I sat down next to him. "It's too early to go to bed." He said. "I know." I said. "You want to stay up for Letterman?" He asked. "Yeah!" I said smiling. I layed down with him and he put his arms around me. We flipped through the channels for about an hour catching bits and peices of different shows. At nine-thirty, I made some more popcorn for us. I melted some butter and poured it all over the popcorn. Then I sprinkled a bunch of salt over it. "Oh you added the artery clogger." He said as I sat down by his feet. He sat up and scooted next to me. We layed back and watched a couple more random shows, until Letterman was on. We layed down when we finished the popcorn. I felt so safe and comfortable in his arms. I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back. "How are things with Brody?" He asked. I just shrugged my shoulders. He smiled and kissed me.
