"I'm sorry." Brody said. "I'm not sure how I can help you." I told him. He shrugged. "Maybe I can stay with Sherrie." He said. "That is probably the worst idea ever." I said. "Why do you care?" He asked. "You've got Chris." "Sherrie is a bitch, Brody." I said. "Well, I need a place to stay." He said. "Whatever. I'm going back to bed." I said. "Can I stay here tonight?" I asked. "No." "Blair." He said. "No. Go to Sherrie." I said. He stormed out of the apartment. I went back to bed.
I rolled over and reached my arm out to put it around Chris. I patted the bed a few times, because I didn't feel him. I opened one of my eyes. "Hey!" I said sitting up. He wasn't there. I pulled the covers off of me and got up. "Chris?" I said. It was Saturday and he didn't work on Saturday's. There was no answer. I walked out to the kitchen and he was in there standing in front of the stove. He was listening to music on his iPod and whispering the words. I laughed as I walked up behind him. I put my arms around him and he jumped sending my flying onto the floor. He set his iPod down on the counter laughing. He helped me up. "Sorry!" He said. I rubbed my elbow where it hit the floor. He put his arms around me laughing. "Still waking up?" He asked. I giggled and nodded. "Well, go sit down. I'm making pancakes." He said. I watched him cook for a few seconds. He looked so cute in just his plaid flannel pants. He had just the right amount of muscle. I sat down on the couch and turned on the tv. There was a knock at the door. Chris walked over to it and opened it. "Sarah? Oh my god." He said opening the door wider. A girl walked into the apartment. She had a baby in her arms along with tons of bags, a carseat, a stroller and what looked like s small bassinette. "Holy shit." He said taking the stroller from her. I stood up as he helped her set down her stuff. "Could you?" She said looking at me. I looked at Chris confused. She was holding the baby out. "Oh." I said taking the baby from her. The baby looked like just a few months old. She set down the rest of her things. "Sarah, this is my roommate Blair. Blair, this is my big sister Sarah." He said. "And that's her little girl GiGi." He pointed at the baby. "Marty kicked me out." She said starting to cry. Chris hugged her. "It's okay." He told her. "I have no money, no food, no nothing. It took me forever to get here." She sobbed. "Has GiGi eaten?" He asked. "Yeah. I grabbed a bunch of formula." She said. "What time is it?" He looked at the clock on the microwave. "Eight am." He told her. "It's time for her to eat again." She said. She took GiGi from me and picked up the diaper bag. She went to the kitchen. Chris looked at me with big eyes and shrugged. "Need any help?" He asked her walking into the kitchen.
