When Marlow started to play, Brody took my hand and we walked up towards the front. I was surprised at how many people were there. The place was full. They played a thirty minute set. I thought they were pretty good. Brody bought me their cd for five bucks. "I'm gonna go say goodbye." He said, then walked off. I looked over at the bar and Dagget waved at me smiling. I waved back. Brody flipped him off as he walked up to me and Dagget threw his fist in the air. We all laughed. "Okay, ready?" He said. I just nodded. I was use to getting a lot more attention than that on a "date". It was weird. "Did you have fun?" He asked as we started to head back to my apartment. "Yeah." I said smiling. "Good good." He said. "Do you want to hang out at my apartment with me for a while?" I asked. "It's only ten." We stopped at a red light. "Really?" He asked giving me a strange look. "Yeah. . ." "Doesn't Chris like hate me now?" He said. "No." "I don't know. I've got a full shift tomorrow." He said. "Okay." I said. It was quiet the rest of the way there. He parked the car out front. "See you at work tomorrow." I said. I opened the door. "Wait, I'll walk you up." He said. I got out and he walked over to me. He took my hand and walked me up to my apartment. He just stood there smiling at me. I reached my arms up and gave him a hug. He hugged me back tightly. "Did you really have fun?" He asked. "Yeah." I said. He let go of me and smiled. "I hope so." He said. "I did." "What did you want me to come in for?" He asked. I shrugged. "I don't know. Just to hang out." "How about tomorrow night?" He asked. "Okay." "Goodnight." He said. I just smiled and watched walk down to his car. I sighed. I went inside and of course, Chris was asleep on the couch. He didn't wake up when I walked in, so I just let him be. I knew he'd wake up sooner or later and peak in to make sure I made it home safe. "I don't know what I will ever do without you." I told him smiling. I giggled. I went to my room, got ready for bed and layed down.
