"Hey Chris." I said smiling as I walked into our apartment. "Hey." He said. He smiled. "How was your day?" I asked. I sat down on his lap and hugged him. I didn't want him to feel like I was ditching him, so I figured I would spend a little time with him before I left. "It was alright." He said. "Do you want to watch an episode of Friends?" I asked. "Aren't you leaving soon?" He asked. "I've got two hours before I need to be ready." I said. "And I'm not getting decked out to go out to a stinky club." He smiled and put his arms around me. "So, no Joe tonight I guess. . ." I said. "No?" "Nope. He cancelled." I said. "So, it's just gonna be me and Brody." "Is he still acting like you're friends?" He asked. "Mostly." I laughed. "Have you kissed yet?" He asked. "A little." I said smiling. He put his hand on the back of my head and layed back so I fell on top of him. He started kissing me. He was a much more passionate kisser than Brody. Chris was amazing in many ways, but I still, at that moment couldn't see a future with him. He brushed my hair over my face with his fingers, so my hair flew all over the place. "Whoa." I giggled. He just smiled and started kissing me again. For the first time, he wasn't being gentle with me, but I liked it. It was new and incredible. We layed there on the floor trying to catch our breath. I turned over and rested my head on his shoulder. "Wow." I said smiling. He smiled. "I had a rough day again." "I think I'm glad you had a rough day." I giggled. "Me too." He said. "Me too." "Sorry to do this to you. I'd love to just lay here with you." I said sitting up. "It's okay." He said. "You don't have to wait up if you don't want." I said. I leaned down and kissed the corner of his lips. "I like to." He said. I smiled. I got up and took a shower. I threw my hair up and got dressed. I chose my ripped up jeans and black haltor top. I heard Chris' music playing lightly in his room, so I figured he was taking a nap. I peaked in his room and he was asleep. I kissed the inside of his door so it would leave my lips there with my red lipstick. I closed the door to a crack and went outside to wait for Brody. He pulled up right on time in his Mom's minivan. It made me laugh, because he looked funny in it. I got in the car and he was blasting Dashboard Confessional. That was the only band he was able to get me into. I figured that was why he chose to listen to them tonight. "You look really cute." He said as we pulled out of the apartment complex. "Thanks." I smiled. "Joe may or may not show up." He said. "He keeps changing his mind. He says he'd be the third wheel." "Either way is fine." I said. "Yeah. It'll be fun. I don't know anyone else who is going though." He said sounding disapointed. I just rolled my eyes and looked out the window as we passed all the run down houses and gas stations.
